Debra was born and raised in Texas and has been in real estate over 30 years. Her dad was a new home builder and her mom was a Realtor. The most important thing she learned from her mother was to keep clients and their needs as the main priority, always. When her parents passed away, she took over the real estate business and eventually sold it to begin a career in Human Resources. She was in HR for over 20 years and earned her PHR and SHRM-CP certifications. Because of all this experience, she has learned so much about mentoring and coaching, which has served her well in her real estate career. The joy she gets from helping clients comes from being able to walk with them through whatever life circumstances they're facing. She has observed regularly, when working for someone, that they are going through a very challenging time in life. Often they don't know much about the process of buying or selling and just need someone who's not only experienced, but attentive to their needs and goals. Debra says, "Whether you are a disabled vet or need help with a deceased loved one's estate, it is a blessing for me to help take that burden off of you." When she's not working for her clients, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter.
